In preparation for the VI World Congress of the Salesian Cooperators, the World Council presents the official hymn of the event, entitled “With the Strength of Love”, composed and produced by the South Caribbean America Region as a musical contribution to the journey of the Association.
The Congress, which will gather representatives from the various Salesian Regions around the world, will take place under the motto “To be leaven in order to be fruitful”—an invitation to renew one’s vocational identity and to live the apostolic co-responsibility of the Salesian mission with deeper awareness and commitment.
The publication of the hymn carries a particularly meaningful value in this year in which the Association celebrates the 150th anniversary of its foundation (1876–2026). It is an opportunity to remember our roots, to give thanks for the history we share, and to renew with enthusiasm our educational and pastoral dedication to young people, in fidelity to Don Bosco’s dream.
“With the Strength of Love” was born precisely from this spirit: a song meant to accompany the work of the Congress, to strengthen unity among the Regions, and to give voice to the vitality of the Salesian Cooperators throughout the world. Its melody and message seek to support our common journey, inspiring hope, creativity, and fidelity to the Salesian charism.
