We are pleased to share this significant homily delivered by Archbishop Andrés Carrascosa, Apostolic Nuncio to Portugal, on the occasion of the feast of Blessed Alexandrina Maria da Costa and the dedication of the new Eucharistic Shrine of Balasar.

On a day marked by profound gratitude and faith, the Church celebrated the luminous witness of Alexandrina, apostle of the Eucharist and of Christ’s redemptive love, as well as the inauguration of this church called to be a place of encounter, prayer, and spiritual renewal for many pilgrims.
