VI World Congress. Decisions Adopted

During the closing day of the World Congress, in addition to presenting the 2026‑2032 programmatic guidelines, several congress votes were held to open new paths in two specific areas, both of which received the support of the Congress.

• Organizational reconfiguration in Africa — The proposal is to establish two African regions, replacing the current structure that includes the entire continent together with Madagascar. This reorganization seeks to promote greater proximity, more effective coordination, and renewed momentum for the mission. Work on the proposal will continue, and it will not be based solely on linguistic criteria.

• Update of the Project of Apostolic Life — A process begins to create a working team at the service of the World Council and the Rector Major, tasked with reviewing and updating the Project of Apostolic Life, especially its Regulations. This document, far from being static, is the living identity charter of the Association, constantly evolving, as the PAL itself states. The initiative responds to the many contributions received by the World Executive Secretariat over the past eight years, with the aim of keeping it always current, dynamic and meaningful.
