VI World Congress 2026: A look within

VI World Congress 2026: A look within

On the second day of the VI World Congress of the Salesian Cooperators, entitled “A look within,” the programme began with a video message from Mother Chiara Cazzuola, Superior General of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA). In her message, Mother Chiara strengthened the bonds of affection and vocational communion that unite the Cooperators with Don Bosco’s mission.

Continuing the day’s work, participants attended the round table “A look at the Salesian Family,” which encouraged dialogue among the various groups of the Salesian Family. Taking part were world representatives of the Confederation of Past Pupils (FMA), the Confederation of Past Pupils (SDB), the Don Bosco Missionary Community, and the Volunteers of Don Bosco (VDB).

One of the highlights of the morning was the presentation of the report by the World Coordinator, Antonio Boccia. In his address, he offered participants a detailed overview of the life of the Association during his mandate, covering the period 2018‑2026, highlighting the progress and resilience shown over the past eight years.

In the afternoon, participants divided into groups corresponding to each of the Association’s 11 Regions, in order to identify challenges and outline lines of action for the future of the Association in their respective contexts.

The day concluded with a moment of deep spirituality. Participants joined in prayer along the Via Lucis, walking through the stations that celebrate the steps of the Risen Lord, renewing hope and missionary commitment for the days ahead.
