On Saturday, September 12, six new Salesian Cooperators made their Promise at Saint Dominic Savio Parish in Bellflower, California, taking a new step in their commitment to live and share the spirit and mission of Don Bosco.

The Eucharist was presided over by Fr. Mike Gergen, SDB, pastor of the parish. The new Salesian Cooperators belong to the Saint Dominic Savio Local Centre in Bellflower. During the celebration, Provincial Coordinator Mike Álvarez received their Promises, accompanied by other members of the Provincial Council.

The celebration brought together members of the Salesian Family, relatives, friends and parishioners, who joyfully accompanied them on this important occasion.

At the conclusion of the Eucharist, everyone shared a time of fraternity to celebrate together this new step in their journey of service to young people and commitment to the Salesian mission.
