The annual in-person meeting of the Regional Consultation took place at Casa Don Bosco in Madrid from June 6-8. It was attended by 43 people from the seven Salesian Cooperator provinces of the Iberian Region: the Consultation’s full members (world councilor, regional delegates, provincial coordinators, and SER), the provincial delegates, and several other members of the provincial councils, primarily those responsible for vocation promotion, youth ministry, and family ministry.
Over the weekend, the provinces and the SER shared their annual report, as a testament to the valuable associative life of our region. In addition, the SER presented a preview of the 2025-2028 Three-Year Animation Plan for the Region: “I Want You to Be Happy,” an invitation to continue bearing witness to the joy of the Gospel in the festive context of our 150th anniversary.
Other topics discussed included regional administration, the CSJM (Spanish Confederation of Men and Women), the 2026 World Congress, and the road to the 150th anniversary. But without a doubt, the most significant part of the weekend was the fraternal gathering among the people who lead the Association in the region.
