The meeting was held from April 24 to 27 in the presence of the 2025 World Council at the Pius XI Institute in Rome.

With all the members of the World Council present and accompanied by Fr. Joan Lluis Playá, the meeting focused on the regions, secretarial, and administrative aspects, and included detailed work on preparing for the 2026 World Congress.

On Saturday afternoon, the Councilors visited St. Peter’s Basilica and its Holy Door, then traveled to the Sacro Cuore for a meeting with the Rector Major, Fr. Fabio Attard, who gave us an overview of GC29, also from the perspective of the Salesian Family.

The next meeting of the Council will take place online in June.
