In the Association of Salesian Cooperators of Paraguay, we have experienced days of grace and profound joy.

On August 15, the Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary, and on August 16, celebrating the 210th birthday of Don Bosco, our Teacher and friend of young people, the Association gave a beautiful gift to the Church: 20 new Salesian Cooperators.

The pledges took place in two communities: in the city of Concepción, where a new formation center with 13 Salesian Cooperators is being established, and in the city of Villeta, at the Atilio Giordani Center, where seven brothers embraced this call.

After a period of formation and journeying in Salesian spirituality, these new brothers decided to embrace the mission as Salesian Cooperators, placing themselves at the service of young people and the Church.

On this journey of preparation for the 150th anniversary of the Salesians in the world, in Paraguay, the heart of America, we renew our commitment, relaunching the mission alongside the SDB and FMA, to continue being a leaven of hope and fruitfulness in society.
