On Saturday, August 22 and Sunday, August 23, 2026, the South Pacific Caribbean Region held the Post-Congress “Echoes and Pathways of the 6th World Congress: ‘Being Leaven to Be Fruitful’”, a space for encounter, reflection and fraternity that made it possible to gather the main fruits of the 6th World Congress of Salesian Cooperators and project them into the life and mission of the Association.

During these two days, participants explored fundamental topics for continuing to renew our identity and commitment as Salesian Cooperators. One of the central themes was “Rejuvenated Identity”, presented by Borja Pérez, World Coordinator of the Association of Salesian Cooperators, who invited participants to look at our vocation with hope, openness and renewed enthusiasm.

Essential aspects such as synodality and shared responsibility were also addressed, promoting a vision of the Association in which we are all called to participate actively, walk together and embrace the Salesian mission with commitment.

The Post-Congress thus became a space to listen to the echoes of the World Congress, discern new pathways and strengthen regional communion, recognizing that being leaven means allowing Don Bosco’s charism to transform our communities and impel us to be fruitful in our mission.

“Being Leaven to Be Fruitful” reminds us that every Salesian Cooperator, from within his or her own reality and vocation, is called to contribute life, hope and commitment in order to make the Salesian charism present in society.

We continue walking together, renewing our identity and building new pathways towards an Association that is more synodal, co-responsible and missionary.
