Celebrating 150 Years of the Association Through Service and Compassion in Lesotho
The Cooperators of Lesotho continued to live out the Salesian charism through acts of charity, solidarity, and joyful accompaniment of those most in need.
Outreach activities took place at Mohlomi Mental Health Hospital, where the Salesian Cooperators visited patients and children in care. They donated clothing, shoes, toiletries, and sanitary pads. Beyond the material support, the Cooperators spent meaningful time interacting with the children, playing games, listening to them, and sharing moments of friendship and encouragement.
They also visited St. Stephen’s, where they shared a day of prayer, fellowship, and learning. Together with the children, they prayed, played games, and shared snacks in a joyful family atmosphere.
These moments of compassion and accompaniment remind us that the Salesian mission remains alive wherever there are hearts willing to serve with kindness, faith, and generosity.

Celebrating 150 Years of the Salesian Cooperators Through an Oratory Day
The Cooperators organised a joyful Oratory Day on 16 May 2026 at the Don Bosco Skills Centre in Ennerdale.
We planned a special day for children from a nearby informal settlement community. With the consent of their parents and guardians, more than 80 children of various ages were welcomed to the Skills Centre for a day filled with fun, friendship, learning, and care.
The event was supported by our Salesian Youth in Action, whose enthusiasm and dedication helped create a warm and welcoming environment for all.
“Run, jump, play, laugh, and make noise, but do not sin.”
Don Bosco’s words remind us that joy and faith go hand in hand, and that young people flourish in an environment of kindness, respect, and loving guidance.
