As part of the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the Association, the Salesian Cooperators of Brazil gathered virtually on the evening of August 21, 2026. The meeting was honored by the special presence of the World Coordinator of the Association, Borja Pérez.

Continuing in the festive spirit of the 150th anniversary, the World Coordinator presented the Programmatic Guidelines that emerged from the reflections of the 6th World Congress, held in Rome in May 2026, marking the beginning of this new chapter. The 150th anniversary invites us to look to our roots in order to shape the future, opening the 2026–2032 six-year period as a time of vision, responsibility and mission.

At the conclusion of his participation, Borja Pérez greeted everyone with an invitation to live this six-year period with hope, courage and unity: “To be leaven means to be small, yet decisive; hidden, yet transformative; humble, yet fruitful.”
