Release of the book “St. John Bosco – A dream that makes you dream!” And Salesian Family Day, Delhi Province

On 25 January 2025, on the occasion of Salesian Family Day celebration, Don Bosco, Provincial House, New Delhi, witnessed a momentous moment of the release of the book, St. John Bosco – A dream that makes you dream, compiled & authored by the Salesian Cooperators of Okhla Unit, New Delhi Province, by Rev. Fr. Davis Maniparamben, SDB, Provincial in presence of Rev Fr. Michael Perikaryal SDB, delegate of the Okhla Unit and Mr. Isidore Budding, the Provincial Coordinator of Delhi Province.

The book provides valuable insights about the life of St. Don Bosco in a simple question answer format. Fr Provincial appreciated the remarkable efforts of the authors (Ms. Ligy Sebastian, Ms. Susan Joseph & Ms. Tessy Paul), emphasizing that this was a historic milestone for the Delhi Province. Ms. Susan Joseph said that the book emphasizes a deeper meaning – a dream so powerful that it ignites hope, aspirations and actions in others. The event was beautifully aligned with the Family Day theme: “Igniting Hope in the Young”. The book, a labor of love, is expected to serve as a beacon of hope and guidance for the young and for those dedicated to Don Bosco’s mission.

THE XVII SOUTHERN ZONAL CONFERENCE OF THE  ASSOCIATION OF SALESIAN COOPERATORS, HYDERABAD, INDIA

The 17th Southern Zonal Conference of the Salesian Cooperators was held at Don Bosco Provincial House, Bandlaguda, Hyderabad on February 15 and 16, 2025. The conference was participated by 70 people, including delegates, and the theme was: “Salesian Cooperators – Co-pilgrims with the young”. The celebration was graced by the presence of Fr. Joseph Manipadam SDB, – Regional Delegate for the Salesian Family – South Asia Region, Fr. Kishore SDB – Vice Provincial INH, Mr. Devasia T. K., World Councillor, Fr. Noel Madichetty SDB, Former Provincial of INH, and Fr. V. Rayappa SDB, the Provincial delegate for Cooperators INH, and Provincial and Local Delegates from the Provinces of Panjim, Bangalore, Trichy, Chennai and Mumbai.

The two days were spent in serious reflection on the theme with inputs given by Fr Joseph Manipadam, Fr Noel Maddichetty, Mr. T.K. Devasia, Mr Jack Clamacus, and Mr. Arockia Arasu. On the second day, there was a Panel Discussion, enlightening the theme of the conference “Salesian Cooperators – Co-pilgrims with the young” led by Mr. Maria Soosai and Mr Martin Depores.
