BSP Province
The Regional Retreat of the Salesian Cooperators of the Province of Our Lady Help of Christians of São Paulo – Brazil, was held during the months of September and October 2024, in the Capital/Coastal, Paulista and Vale do Paraíba regions.
On September 21, the Jardim Nordeste Local Center of São Paulo welcomed around fifty (50) Salesian Cooperators from the Local Centers of Guarujá (Coastal), Guacuri – SP, Santa Teresinha – SP, Sagrado Coração de Jesus – SP, Lapa – SP and Itaquera – SP. The presence of the Local Delegate of Itaquera, Fr. Aramis Biaggi – SDB, stands out. The theme of the reflection was “Sacramental Life” led by the Provincial Delegate, Fr. Luiz Gonzaga Piccoli – SDB.
On September 28, the CL Salesian School of São José in Campinas – SP, hosted the Retreat and was attended by one hundred and six (106) Salesian Cooperators from the Local Centers of Araras, Piracicaba (CLs São Mário and Cidade Alta), Sorocaba, São Carlos, Americana, Campinas – Vida Nova. Of note was the presence of the Provincial Delegate Fr. Luiz Gonzaga Piccoli – SDB and the Local Delegate of the Local Center Salesian School of São José in Campinas, Fr. Edson Donizetti Castilho – SDB.

And on October 20, it was the turn of the CL of Piquete to welcome the SSCC from the Paraíba Valley. The Retreat was attended by fifty (50) participants from the Local Centers of Pindamonhangaba, Lorena, Cruzeiro, Piquete, and São José dos Campos. The presence of the Local Delegate of the Sacred Family Local Center of São José dos Campos, Fr. Antônio Célio Costa Francisco – SDB and Fr. Dílson Passos Júnior – SDB who celebrated the Holy Mass is noteworthy. The reflection with the theme “Dream of the nine years” was led by Fr. Agnaldo Soares Lima – SDB, Local Delegate of the CL Instituto Coração Eucarístico of Pindamonhangaba.
