Vocation Promotion of Salesian Cooperators in Philippines North Province

Manila, Philippines (April 2024).  The Salesian Cooperators in Philippines North Province in collaboration with the Salesian Family Consulta of the Province facilitated activities to promote the vocation of Salesian Cooperators to about 200 young people.  The activity is part of the Salesian Family Vocation Festival that happened on April 6, 2024 at Don Bosco Compound, Canlubang, Laguna, Philippines.

Two young cooperators Patrice and Ralph from Mary Help of Christians (MHC) Canlubang and Mayapa Centers gave their respective testimonies on their vocation journey until the entry to the association, along with Provincial Coordinator Meldy who gave a brief talk about the vocation of the Salesian Cooperators. Promotional videos prepared by Province and the MHC Canlubang were shown to introduce the association.

The whole day program was marked by songs, dance, talks, games, adoration, and Eucharistic Celebration. All groups of the Salesian Family set-up its respective area where young participants visited by cluster. During question and answer portion of ASC encounter with young participants, they interestingly inquired on what are the activities and how to be members of the Salesian Cooperators.

The ASC Provincial Councillor for Vocation  Yolly Ortiz took charge of the ASC participation in the vocation festival with the help of ASC Local Centers of Mayapa, Canlubang, MHC Canlubang, and Tondo.
