Last Sunday, October 13, the day of Blessed Alesandrina Da Costa, the Province of Venezuela, in the city of Caracas in the Juan Vernet Center of the parish Maria Auxiliadora of Sarria, four new Salesian Cooperators made their promise, Gregson Padilla, Marela Palomino, Leonardo Páez and Sarai Avendaño. The Eucharist was very special, celebrated by Father Rafael Montenegro, Inspector of Venezuela, concelebrated by Father David Marín, Delegate for the SSCC Association of both the South Pacific Caribbean region, as well as the province, Father Yohan Castro, Delegate of the Salesian family in Venezuela, as well as the priests of the presence of the parish of Sarria. Likewise, SSCC Carlos Rodríguez, Provincial Coordinator, Nelma Parra, Administrator, Alvaro Sequera, Formator and Ana Tarazona, delegate for youth ministry were present. In the homily, the Father Inspector highlighted the information about the vocation of the Salesian Cooperator, how it is… “Following Jesus Christ from the charism of Don Bosco, in an Association that has a mission in the Church”
It was a very emotional and gratifying Eucharist, the testimonies of the new Salesian Cooperators were full of very marked vocational signs that God impregnated in their lives to reach the altar and publicly become Salesian Cooperators through their promises. Glory to God and may our association continue to grow. Amen
