The month of August was marked by important celebrations for the Association of Salesian Cooperators in the São Paulo Province.

On August 23, the Our Lady Help of Christians – Bom Retiro Local Centre, in São Paulo, celebrated the Apostolic Promise of fifteen new Salesian Cooperators. The celebration was presided over by Fr. Alexandre Oliveira (SDB), Salesian Provincial of the Our Lady Help of Christians Province.

In addition to welcoming the new members, the occasion marked the resumption of activities at the Our Lady Help of Christians – Bom Retiro Local Centre, which had been on hiatus. The celebration thus represented a new stage in the journey of the Local Centre and in the presence of the Salesian Cooperators within that community.

On August 29, the Don Bosco – Lapa Local Centre, also in the city of São Paulo, celebrated the Apostolic Commitment of fifteen new Salesian Cooperators. The celebration was also presided over by Fr. Alexandre Oliveira (SDB), Salesian Provincial, and officially marked the entry of the new members into the Association, strengthening the presence and mission of the Salesian Cooperators in the São Paulo Province.
