On October 18, 2026, the Youth Centre in Orocovis, Puerto Rico, hosted the National Assembly of Salesian Cooperators, under the theme “Let Us Be Leaven to Be Fruitful.” It was a day of fraternity, reflection, and renewal of commitment to the Salesian mission.

Thirty brothers and sisters from four Local Centres—Don Bosco 88 in Aguadilla, Alejandrina D’Acosta in Orocovis, St Francis de Sales in Cataño, and Don Bosco Amigo in Santurce—gathered, accompanied by Sr Nilza González and Fr Wilfredo Calderón.

The day provided an opportunity for fraternity, prayer, reflection, and renewal of commitment to the Salesian mission. Through dialogue, reports on animation activities, and the celebration of the Eucharist, participants reaffirmed their call to strengthen associative life, accompany young people and their families, and keep the Salesian presence alive in their communities.

During the assembly, reports from the different areas of animation were presented.

The gathering concluded with an invitation to face the challenges of the mission with hope, commitment, and perseverance.
