On 5 September 2026, the Provincial Congress of the Salesian Cooperators of the Warsaw Province was held in Łódź. Taking place during the Association’s 150th anniversary year, the meeting offered an opportunity for prayer, reflection on the journey made so far and a renewed look at the future of the Salesian lay vocation.

One of the main themes of the Congress was the identity and mission of Salesian Cooperators in today’s world. Particular attention was given to the need for an authentic presence among young people, the renewal of the family and community spirit, the evangelisation of contemporary culture and a formation capable of shaping everyday life.

Participants also reflected on the Association’s Programmatic Guidelines for 2026–2032, adopted during the 6th World Congress in Rome. The Eucharistic celebration was a central moment of the meeting, during which participants gave thanks to God for 150 years of the Association’s history and prayed for the guidance of the Holy Spirit in its continuing mission.

The Congress concluded with an invitation to strengthen the presence of Salesian Cooperators among young people, build stronger communities and undertake concrete apostolic initiatives responding to local needs.
