Objeto: Communication regarding the transition of the World Delegate

Dear Salesian Cooperators, dear Delegates from all over the world,

I wish to share with you, with joy and gratitude, the transition in service of the World Delegate of our Association. After years of generous, discreet and effective accompaniment, Mr Duc Nam Nguyen concludes his service. On behalf of the Association, we express our heartfelt gratitude for his fraternal presence, his humble style and his constant dedication. His witness will remain a precious gift for all of us.

We warmly welcome Fr Filiberto González, who takes on this service with the availability and love for the Salesian charism that have always distinguished him. We are certain that his presence will be an encouragement to continue growing in communion, in shared mission and in fidelity to the spirit of Don Bosco.

This transition takes place at a particularly meaningful moment: the celebration of the 150th anniversary of our Association, a time of grateful memory and, above all, of renewed commitment. It is an opportunity to look to the future with evangelical courage, to renew our vocational identity and to strengthen our commitment as Salesian lay people at the heart of the world.

May this change be a sign of continuity and hope. Let us continue walking together, as Salesian Family, to build a more fraternal world.

With affection and prayer,
