Let’s celebrate a big step in the mission of the Salesian Cooperadores in the United States of America!

El pasado 3 de mayo, en Colorado Springs, Colorado, we are pleased to receive the promise of 8 new Salesians Cooperadores del Centro “San Miguel Arcángel”.

The ceremony was presided over by Padre Mel Trinidad, Provincial SDB, and the promises were received by the Provincial Coordinator, Alex del Carmen. With this act, it is canonically established as this new local center, fortaleciendo nuestra presence and misión in the region.

We hope that the first Salesians Cooperators of the Center “San Miguel Arcángel” will be announced in 2022, and with this new promise, it is combined with the minimum of 6 Cooperators required for the opening of a new center, according to our new Project of the Apostolic Life!

This is the first center of Salesian Cooperadores in the state of Colorado and is animated by the Hijas of Mary Auxiliadora, also known as the Hermanas Salesianas. With this incorporation, there is its once the centers of Salesianos Cooperadores in the Provincia de Estados Unidos Oeste.

With much joy, the Interamerican Region celebrated the 149th anniversary of the founding of the Association, a special moment that took place through the rezo of the Holy Rosary of virtual life.

The transmission was guided by more than 130 people via Zoom and more than 30 on Facebook, on the SC Interamérica page. The participants travel from 13 countries that conform to the region. In Mexico and Panama some of our centers will meet to live together this moment.

The encuentro comes with the oration created by the World Association, in preparation for 150 years. Luego, the world councilor of the region sent a message of congratulations and love to live the vocation today. Also Sor Aracely Mayorga FMA, regional delegate for the Salesian Cooperadores, envió un warm greetings to all the Cooperadores.

Continuation, the Rosario is divided into three languages ​​spoken in the region: Spanish, English and French. This misterio was accompanied by Salesianos Cooperadores de Canada, El Salvador, Estados Unidos, México, Haiti, Guatemala, Panama, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica y República Dominicana. With this graceful action, we started as a Region, in union with the Salesian Cooperators of all the world, and this is the third year of preparation to celebrate the 150th anniversary of our new Association, and the legacy: “Un sueño, una promise y el futuro”. This year, the key action is “Relaunch”.

All moments of speech are carried out in the three official languages ​​of our region, promoting active participation and enriching all those presented. ¡Que hermoso can celebrate together, in community and in prayer, this is an important birthday!

In commemoration of the 149th anniversary of the Association of Salesian Cooperators, 11th anniversary of the Bartolomé Garelli Center renewed its commitment to service to young people and the Church in a ceremony of spirituality and sales blessing. The event, celebrated the 9th of May at 6:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary of Youth, was presided over by Padre Ronald Córdoba.

To finalize the ceremony, the attendees shared a ceremony with friends and family, foreshadowing the spirit of convivencia and the spirit of family. The orations of Papa Francisco, the new Pontifice of Leo XIV and the deceased of the Salesian Family will celebrate a day of grace and hope.

From 9 to 11 May, we celebrate the National Congress of Salesians Cooperators in the Dominican Republic!

This meeting took place at the Sales Training and Promotion Center in Jarabacoa, meeting with 61 local councilors with the aim of strengthening identity, promoting the inclusion of all SSCC activities and consolidating the NGO association in the country. During the conference, it was presented and consolidated. national analysis FODA of the new transport model, in addition to the management information of local centers and the National Consultation 2022-2025. Also included in the Documento de Animación de Pastoral Juvenil y Familia, motivating the centers to be strong in this important area.

In a family spirit and guided by the Holy Spirit, elections will be carried out to conform to the new National Consultation 2025-2028. The Christian Church was presided over by Fr. José Cuello, SDB, national and provincial delegate for the SSCC.

Currently, the Association in the Dominican Republic has 240 Salesian Cooperators and 128 Aspirants distributed in 13 local centers (2 in training), distributed in 6 different cities.

Annual Conference in Honor of María Auxiliadora✨ Salesianos Cooperadores Centro Basilica Don Bosco Panamá, Province CAM

On Saturday 10 May, the Annual Conference was held in honor of Maria Auxiliadora, in the Auditorium of the Colegio Bilingüe Domingo Savio, held in the Don Bosco Corregimiento, in the city of Panama. This year, the theme was “María: Peregrina de la Esperanza”, inspired by Aguinaldo Salesiano 2025.

The central theme of the conference was led by Father Carlos Vilanova, director of the Basilica, who shared a message of hope and motivation to live our new mission as good Christians. Also, Sor Cinthia Blanco, FMA del Colegio María Auxiliadora en Arraiján, shared her life testimony with the Holy Virgin Mary.

The event is a song of joy and music, with the participation of the young heart of Juanito Bosco, of the Don Bosco Basilica, and of the group of folk singers and Savistas who performed with excellent musical pieces.

The presence of the Salesian Family of Panama strengthened the Salesian spirit that lived on this day, prepared together for the next Patronal Fiesta of Mary Help of Christians.

Last Sunday, May 17, the Association of Salesian Cooperators of El Salvador celebrated an emotional act in honor of five of our friends, who have celebrated 25 years of loyalty and compromise with the values ​​that they assumed at the moment of their promise.

The ceremony took place at the Parroquia Maria Auxiliadora de San Salvador and took place with a hermosa Eucharist presided over by P. Mariano Miranda, national delegate for the Association. Afterwards, you will find places of recognition for every one of the guests, recognition of your dedication and example.
