1. Lenten Encounter in Santa Marta and Barranquilla

On Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Virginia Rossi School, a Lenten Encounter was held with the participation of the Salesian Cooperators of Santa Marta and Barranquilla. We lived a wonderful experience with the Lord, supported by Fathers Franklin and Javier, the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians Sr. Amada Romero and Sr. Nelly Arteta, and Vilma Álvarez, servant of the El Jordan Group.

The themes “What saved Daniel in the lions’ den?” and “How do we do what He tells us?” helped participants listen to the Lord’s voice and make commitments of transformation to take the step and live Easter fully.

The retreat concluded beautifully with the celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and the Holy Eucharist.

The retreat ended with the celebration of the Eucharist, presided over by Fr. Andrés Castro, SDB.

3. Provincial Council Visit to the Beato Miguel Rúa Aspirantate Center (Llano Grande, Antioquia)

On Saturday, March 21, 2026, the Provincial Council visited the Salesian Cooperator Center of the Beato Miguel Rúa Aspirantate, located in Llano Grande, Antioquia. This center is composed of founders of the Province, who have remained faithful to their vocation and resilient in the face of difficulties.

They carry out beautiful individual apostolates, and a common one: delivering food baskets to 12 vulnerable families in the region.

The center faces the challenges of Vocational Promotion, strengthening formation, and deepening the listening of the Lord’s voice in moments of prayer and meditation.

The Province has much to thank this center and the Salesian Cooperators who belong to it, as their fidelity, perseverance, and witness show that it is worthwhile to accept Jesus’ call within the Salesian Family.
