Accompanying visit.

The Provincial Council of the Salesian Cooperators of Bolivia made an important visit to the centres of Santa Cruz Norte and Santa Cruz city, as part of its work of animation and accompaniment to the local communities. This tour aimed to strengthen the commitment of the members and foster the spirit of cooperation in line with Salesian values.

The team headed by the Coordinator Jaime Rojas, the person in charge of Formation Willy Rojas, Secretary Viviana Deheza, the person in charge of Vocation Pastoral Mabel Mantilla and the Delegate Fr. Juan Aparicio. During the visit, the conclusions and challenges addressed in the Formative Congress held in Ecuador last June were shared, highlighting the new challenges for the Salesian cooperators.

Also accompanying this visit was the World Councillor for the South Pacific Caribbean Region, Deliana Almendras, who recalled the guidelines that emanate from the world council in the second year in preparation for the 150 years of the association.

The local centers of San José La Floresta, Don Bosco Central and Don Bosco Centenario gave a warm welcome to the provincial council, creating a fraternal and collaborative environment that allowed for rich interaction and joint reflection. The promising and aspirant Salesian Cooperators participated actively, renewing their commitment and enthusiasm for future challenges. This meeting strengthened the bonds of unity and mission, which are essential to continue the Salesian work in the region.

FRATERNAL MEETING WITH FATHER HUGO OROZCO

The Salesian Cooperators experienced an enriching fraternal meeting with the councilor for the Interamerica region, Father Hugo Orozco, who visited the Salesian communities with the aim of providing support and strengthening the bonds of fraternity among the members of the Salesian Family. During the meetings, the participants shared experiences and reflected on the commitment that each one assumes in their work within the Salesian mission.

In his message to the Salesian Cooperators, Fr. Hugo Orozco stressed the importance of the presence of the laity and of strengthening co-responsibility in the work of Don Bosco, emphasizing the active and committed role that they must play in their respective communities. He invited his Salesian Cooperator brothers to deepen their Salesian identity, reaffirming their vocation of service and pastoral animation, especially with the most needy young people.

This meeting left a deep impression on the participants, who felt inspired by the words of Fr. Hugo and committed to continue working in unity to promote the values ​​and mission of Don Bosco in the region.
