Mexico South. Biblical Festival

On September 7 and 8, the city of Morelia, Michoacán, was the scene of the 7th Bible Festival, under the motto “Pilgrims of hope, living the Word.” This event aimed to bring the community closer to reading, meditating and praying with the Bible, in a month especially dedicated to it.

The Centro de Salesianos Cooperadores Anáhuac, together with various associations, congregations and ecclesial movements, joined together to make this festival an unforgettable encounter.

On Saturday, in an atmosphere of joy and fraternity, the Bible walk was held, accompanied by a colorful parade of allegorical floats celebrating the Word. The day culminated with a Holy Hour in front of the beautiful Cathedral of Morelia.

On Sunday, attendees participated in a solemn Mass and the enthronement of the Bible. In addition, in the Plaza de Armas, stands were set up with games designed to involve families and promote the Salesian vocation.
