Message of Antonio Boccia, World Coordinator, on the Solemnity of the Immaculate.

We share the message of Antonio Boccia, World Coordinator, on the Solemnity of the Immaculate.

Dearest friends, Salesian Cooperators, on this solemnity of the Immaculate, our hearts are filled with joy and gratitude. It is a feast that speaks to us of Mary, our guide and mother, and this year it takes on an even more special meaning. We are journeying toward a historic milestone: the 150th anniversary of our Association. A path that invites us to look to the future with hope, without forgetting our roots. And who better than Mary to show us the way? At the wedding of Cana, she left us a message as simple as it is profound: “Do whatever He tells you.” An invitation to trust Jesus, to listen to His Word, and to translate it into concrete acts of charity and service, especially toward the young. As the Salesian Family, we feel Mary’s presence strongly. She is the one who keeps us united, who encourages us in difficulties, and who pushes us to be “leaven” in the world, bringing Don Bosco’s charism everywhere. On this journey toward the 150th, let us be guided by her. Let us entrust to her our dreams, our projects, and our efforts. With Mary’s help, we can continue to be faithful and passionate “cooperators,” ready to respond to the challenges of our time with creativity and courage. Happy feast of the Immaculate to all of you and your families!
