Former EAO World Councillor Philip Yu visits ASC Australia, Gives Formation Talk to Aspirants

Melbourne, Australia (May 2024).  The initial formation for aspiring Salesian Cooperators in Australia on April 2028 was graced by immediate past EAO World Councillor Philip Yu. The ASC Australia has been facilitating initial formation program on a hybrid modality as a way to address the challenge of distance and ensure participation of aspirants from other parts of country. The face-to-face venue for the onsite aspirants of the formation session was in Melbourne while online attendees were in Sydney and Tasmania.

Quoting Philip on spending time with ASC Australia, I am very happy and thankful that I had the privilege to accompany the group yesterday… feels like the first green grass Noah got on the  Ark! I can “see” Don Bosco in their hearts and the fire (Holy Sprite) burning.”

In his talk, Philip reiterated the Formation Guidelines, specifically referring to “personal” vocation becomes the so called Salesiain dimension when a person choose to follow Don Bosco. The formation program is prepared and organized by Salesian Cooperators couple Carlos and Carmen Escobar together with SDB and FMA Delegates. #
