
MANILA, Philippines (March 2025). The ASC World Administrator Raul Fernandez met the Province Administrators of the East Oceania Region (EAO) on March 09, 2025 via Zoom. The objectives of the online meeting as requested by Raul included the inquiry on economic realities and sharing of best practices, challenges, and strategies on keeping up to active members. As the World Council Administrator, Raul made a presentation on the roles and functions of the Administrator in the Association. Each Province Administrator in the region presented their respective experiences and some even shared their cash flow.
The sharing of the Provinces arrived at common problem of increasing number of inactive members due to reasons such as old age, sickness, transfer of residence, varying priorities from family matters, works and other personal concerns. When asked how the Provinces dealt with the problem, similar measures were mentioned such as visitation, calls, and invitation for activities. The intervention of Raul provided the Administrators an indepth perspective of their role which is more than administering the goods of the association but an animation role.
All Province were present, namely: Australia, Philippines North, Philippine South, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Timor Leste, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia with the exemption of Papua New Guinea and China who earlier submitted a report on the Province Activities in time for the meeting. This is the first meeting of Administrators at the region level after the EAO Regional Consulta meeting last August 2024.
