On November 8, the first meeting of the 2025-2026 academic year of the Regional Council was held in Madrid-Atocha, in person. The seven provincial coordinators of the Region and all members of the SER participated.
Convened by the World Councillor, Borja Pérez, several topics of interest for the animation of the Region were addressed, mainly:
- Approval of the 2026 budget for the Region and presentation of the financial statement as of September 30.
- Approval of CSJM projects to receive funding in 2026, and selection of the Star Project, which in this case is a project of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians in Sri Lanka.
- Presentation of the seven provincial projects.
- Information on regional meetings: Corazones Arremangados, School of Facilitators, Spiritual Exercises in El Paular, Aquí Estoy in Valencia, and Spiritual Exercises and pilgrimage in Valdocco.
- Information of global scope.
We also had two important family moments: a fraternal meeting with the Assembly and Confederated Executive of Past Pupils, and a tribute lunch for our brother Antonio Lloret on his retirement after years of service in the Technical Office. Thank you, Antonio!
