Annual Assembly of the Salesian Cooperators of Haiti.

On Saturday, November 2, the Salesian Cooperators of Haiti held their annual assembly, which took place at the Maria Dominga Mazzarello Center in Jacquet, Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

Salesian Cooperators from the six centers in the Haitian capital and its surroundings were present, accompanied by 7 aspirants.

They were accompanied by the delegate for the Salesian Family, Father Lex Florival, and Father Jacques Antoine Souverain.

National meeting of formators, Dominican Republic, Antilles Province.

On Sunday, October 27, the formators of the different Local Centers of the Dominican Republic met at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Center in the city of Moca, in the north of the country. At this meeting, the implementation of the initial and ongoing formation plans was followed up on and the foundations were laid for the implementation of the subsidies proposed by the World Council for the second year of preparation on the path to the 150th anniversary of the Association.

Likewise, the SWOT analysis of the training we are working on throughout the Inter-American Region has been reviewed.

The activity was coordinated by Dolores Acosta, national person responsible for training, and was attended by Provincial Council members Arismendy Espinal and Katty Rivera, who is the National Coordinator of the Dominican Republic.

Salesian Cooperators Spiritual Exercises Basilica Don Bosco, Panama, CAM Sur Province

From November 9 to 11, at the Asis House of Prayer, Cermeño Capira, the Spiritual Exercises of the Association of Salesian Cooperators Basilica Don Bosco Center of Panama were held.

With the motto “Let us renew our personal encounter with Jesus” and supported by the biblical quote Jn. 14, 6 “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life.”

During these days of retreat, moments of community prayer and personal meditation were shared, exploring key themes such as:

🔹 Encounter with the event: Jesus of Nazareth

🔹 The encounter of Zacchaeus with Jesus

🔹 Following Jesus and the Cross

🔹 Following Jesus in the footsteps of Don Bosco

The Exercises were accompanied by the Catholic Community Fuerza de Dios and by Sister Lydia Flores, FMA, national delegate for the Association, who led the training presentations.

Mexico. IV National Meeting of Salesian Cooperators: “A dream, a promise, the future”

From November 8 to 10, at the “Monsignor Ibarra” House of Prayer of the Missionaries of the Holy Spirit, of the province of Mexico South, located in San Andrés Cholula, Puebla, the IV National Meeting of Salesian Cooperators was held.

The event, with the motto “A dream, a promise, the future”, brought together almost a hundred Salesian Cooperators from the two provinces of Mexico.

The event included presentations by Father José Luis Anguiano, Father Juan Aarón Cerezo Huerta and Juanita Silva, Salesian Cooperator, who through their conferences made the participants reflect on “how to achieve holiness”, “Christian prayer” and “the identity of the Salesian Cooperator”.

Among the guests were Father Ignacio Ocampo Uribe, inspector of Mexico-Mexico (MEM), Sister Margarita Chavarría Primavera, inspector of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians of Mexico – South; each of them addressed a greeting and words of encouragement to the participants. Also present were Father Juan Aarón Cerezo Huerta and Father Osvaldo Gorzegno, delegates for the FS and the Salesian Cooperators respectively of Mexico North and Mexico South; Sister Adriana Dávila FMA, delegate for the FS and SSCC of the Mexico Province, Mexico.

The meeting was coordinated by the members of the Mexico-South Provincial Council coordinated by Omar Espinosa Carillo. Alfredo Algandar Alvarado, coordinator of the Mexico North Province, was also present. Local councils and delegates, zone representatives and representatives of various local centers also participated.
