South Central America Provincial Meeting

On 18 July, the Salesian Cooperators of Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama gathered virtually to celebrate, as a Province, the 150th anniversary of the Association of Salesian Cooperators. The meeting also included the participation of fellow Salesian Cooperators from Canada and Mexico, strengthening the bonds of fraternity that unite us as one Salesian Family.

During the gathering, the participants shared the main reflections and lines of action presented at the World Congress held in Rome last May. The meeting also provided a valuable opportunity for prayer, formation, dialogue, and fraternal fellowship.

Inspired by the motto “Being Leaven to Be Fruitful,” the participants experienced a rich day that included interactive activities, moments of Lectio Divina, and small-group sessions, renewing their commitment to continue being an evangelizing presence and a sign of hope among the young people and the communities they serve.

It was a day that reaffirmed our vocation to journey together, strengthening communion and our shared mission in the service of the Church and of young people.
