From September 18 to 20, the 2026 National Meeting of Aspiring Salesian Cooperators was joyfully held under the theme: “Witnesses in Everyday Life: Called to Live the Salesian Charism with Joy.”

The meeting, coordinated by the National Consultative Body of the Association of Salesian Cooperators of the Dominican Republic, was a wonderful opportunity to strengthen formation, the sense of belonging and vocational discernment, while sharing the richness of the journey that each aspirant is undertaking.

The experience took place at CEFIJUFA, in Santo Domingo Este, where nearly 86 aspirants gathered, accompanied by their formators and coming from different Local Centres throughout the country.

These were days of welcome, formation, fraternity, dialogue and discernment, but above all, days to come together as a family and renew the joy of feeling called to live and share Don Bosco’s charism in everyday life.

Every gathering reminds us that vocation is lived in community, strengthened through accompaniment and expressed in the joy of serving.
