📣The “Call to Responsibility for the Ecological Transition: From Debate to Dialogue, From Talk to Action” was launched today in Assisi by the Laudato Si’ Movement, together with the Sacred Convent of St. Francis, the Franciscan families, the Diocese of Assisi, the Bishop of Gubbio, the Italian Episcopal Conference, and 40 Catholic organizations. They share the desire to further the commitment to the ecological transition away from fossil fuels and toward a renewable and decentralized energy system.
📝The appeal is concrete and immediate: “Today, more than ever, we are called to move from words to action, from debates to dialogues, from declarations to daily choices. Concrete actions and vibrant communities are needed to build a just future. True transition will only occur through participation.”
👉 Attending the meeting for the Association of Salesian Cooperators were Italo Canaletti, World Councilor for the Italy-Middle East and Malta Region, and Caterina Ranieri, Regional Representative for the Laudato Si Sector.
