Day of the Salesian Cooperator and Cooperator 2024 – Inter-American Region.

With great joy, the Inter-American Region celebrated the 148th anniversary of the founding of the Association with a moment of prayer, which took place virtually.

The broadcast was followed by more than 100 people via zoom and more than 60 participants on Facebook: SC Interamerica. The participants came from the 13 countries that make up the region.

The Meeting began with the prayer that has been created by the Association worldwide, for the preparation of the 150 years of the Association; Afterwards, the world councilor of the region addressed a message to the participants, congratulating and encouraging them to live their vocation on a daily basis.

Next, the renewal of the promise took place, then there was a tribute to the Salesian Cooperators of the Region who had already had their Easter. The Meeting closed with the prayer of consecration of the Salesian Cooperator to Mary Help of Christians.

With this thanksgiving, the Region, in union with Salesian cooperators from around the world, began the second year of preparation for the 150th anniversary of the Association, which has as its motto: “a dream, a promise and the future”. This year the key verb is “Renew”.

All moments of prayer were carried out interspersed in Spanish, English and French, the three languages spoken in the Region, with Salesian Cooperators from Guatemala, the United States, Canada, El Salvador, Haiti, Mexico, participating in each of them. Costa Rica and Panama.
