On 19 July, the Salesian Cooperators of Santa Clara joyfully concluded the Educational Summer, a formative experience that brought together 60 young people from the Salesian work over the course of 15 days. The programme took place at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Santa Clara.
Throughout these two weeks, the participants experienced a holistic formation programme through four main workshops: History of Art, Music Appreciation, Social Media, and Architecture. These workshops fostered the cultural, creative, and human development of the young participants from a Salesian perspective.
In addition, each day was dedicated to a specific aspect of everyday life, addressing practical topics such as etiquette and good manners, appropriate dress, coffee culture, beverage appreciation (wine), and first aid, providing valuable tools for their personal and social growth.
The experience concluded with a fraternal dinner, made possible through the generosity and donations of many families. This special moment also gave the young participants the opportunity to put into practice what they had learned during the Educational Summer, demonstrating their understanding of etiquette, protocol, personal presentation, and respectful coexistence in an atmosphere of joy, gratitude, and fraternity.
