Spiritual Exercises Salesian Cooperators Guatemala – CAM North Province.

On September 30 and September 1st , 67 Salesian Cooperators carried out their annual Spiritual Exercises in the social work “Mamá Margarita”, Divine Providence Parish.

The theme of the Exercises was “A dream, a promise and the future: Towards the 150th anniversary of our Association”, they were preached by the Salesian Cooperators: Luis Roberto Núñez, Abel Cruz and Fernando Mazariegos. At the start of the Exercises, the Provincial Father Julio Navarro addressed a message to the participants.

The exhibition at the Blessed Sacrament was led by Deacon Alexander Díaz and the closing Eucharist was presided over by Father Juan Carlos Mesen, national delegate of the Association in Guatemala. The entire activity was coordinated by the National Consulta of Guatemala. Sister Isidora Hernández, FMA, delegate of the Heriberto Herrera Center, accompanied the Exercises all day.

The retreatants came from seven local centers: Sergio Checchi, Domingo Savio, Don Bosco, Mama Margarita and San Francisco de Sales, all from Guatemala City, in addition to the Heriberto Herrera center, from San Pedro Carchá and Luis Versiglia from Petén.

In Guatemala, there are 7 canonically established centers and one center in formation.
