El Salvador: National Gathering of Salesian Cooperators

Under the theme “The Playground, a Style of Relationship,” nearly 60 Salesian Cooperators from the five Local Centres in El Salvador gathered on Sunday, October 4, at Ciudadela Don Bosco in Soyapango, for a day of formation, fraternity, joy and, above all, a vibrant experience of Salesian life.

The day began with the Eucharistic celebration, followed by a formation session led by Uvil Padilla, a Salesian Cooperator from Honduras and Provincial Councillor for the Salesian Family and Youth Ministry.

Following the presentation, participants gathered in small groups to share their vocational stories, recalling the moments and people who have played an important role in their journey as Salesian Cooperators.

The gathering continued with great joy and family spirit: board games, football matches, and various opportunities to spend time together and strengthen the bonds of fraternity.

The gathering concluded with a fraternal lunch, during which the Salesian Cooperators celebrating their birthdays in October were also honoured.
