Ecuador: We celebrate Don Bosco’s birthday together!

On August 16, the Salesian family united to joyfully remember the birth of Saint John Bosco, father, teacher, and friend of young people. In particular, our Salesian Cooperator centers throughout the country organized moments of fellowship, prayer, and celebration, highlighting the family spirit that characterizes our charism.

Each meeting was an opportunity to renew our commitment to living Don Bosco’s legacy, following his example of generous dedication and hope. Through songs, activities, Eucharists, and moments of fellowship, the Cooperator brothers shared their gratitude for the gift of our founder’s life and for the journey we continue to build together.

This anniversary is not only a historical memory, but a current call to be a sign of joy and hope in our communities, bringing Christ to young people and families.

Happy birthday, Don Bosco! Thank you for teaching us to dream and to make life a mission of love and service.
