Theme – Strenna 2024÷” The dream that makes you dream”.

“Turning wolves into Lamb”

The congress commenced with the hoisting of the flag by Sr Bridget Chittapanat FMA, the Provincial Delegate, of Guwahati province on the afternoon of 27 September.

Mrs Cecilia Topno Barla the Provincial Coordinator welcomed the members and the new delegates. There was a short review on the activities at the centres. Guwahati centre sponsored 140 children in Manipur for uniforms, books and essentials. Kokrajhar centre pays for the special coaching class for the students of class X. Tezpur centre sponsored for skill training   of marginalised students.

Fr Sebastian Ishorary SDB animated on the theme, followed by a group discussion on:

*What are the relevant dimensions of Don Bosco’s dream in our society and Church?

** What is the significance of the dream for the cooperators?

*** What can we do in our centres as Cooperstors?

The evening ended with Rosary,Supper and good night by Sr Maria Dilbung.

The next day during the solemn Eucharistic celebration by Fr Ishorary SDB, 5 aspirants made their promise. The Congress was concluded with the lowering of flag and a hymn to Don Bosco hymn.
