The Casa do Pequeno Operário/College Local Center held its Biannual Retreat on November 15 and 16 with the theme: “Don Bosco, Main and the Salesian Cooperators – 150 years of evangelization and Salesianity”. The Retreat had three moments: Reflecting and praying about the Salesian Cooperator’s belonging in the thought of Don Bosco and Main, Evaluating the year 2024 – Planning 2025 and Celebrating the Renewal of the Apostolic Promises. Leandro Brum (SDB) led the reflection on “the SDB and the Salesian Cooperators – dream and future” and Sister Maria Robelvânia (FMA) “Main and the laity of his time and today”. The Porto Alegre Local Center is made up of associates from three distant cities (Porto Alegre, Bagé and Uruguaiana). As most of the biweekly meetings were held virtually, the face-to-face meeting was taken advantage of, valuing moments of spirituality, praying the Rosary, sharing pastoral activities and fraternal coexistence with hugs and lots of laughter.
