On Sunday, August 30, the Salesian Cooperators of Costa Rica gathered at the Sister María Romero Don Bosco Oratory to celebrate their National Assembly.

It was a day of fraternal encounter, reflection, discernment and renewal of the commitment of our vocation in the service of young people. A time of reflection was dedicated to the theme “Self-referentiality”, facilitated by Margarita Fuentes and Ana Acuña, members of the team that participated in the 6th Regional Meeting of Salesian Cooperators.

One of the important moments of the day was the presentation and approval of the National Consultative Body reports, corresponding to the Presidency, Oversight and Administration.

During the afternoon, the official photographs were taken and the annual budget was approved. Likewise, in an atmosphere of dialogue, participation and fraternity, and trusting in the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the election of the new National Formation Consultant took place.

The day concluded with a presentation of the work carried out by the Sister María Romero Don Bosco Oratory, the Association’s national apostolate in Costa Rica. Finally, participants received the Salesian good afternoon message and prayer from Sr. Aracely Mayora, Provincial and Regional Delegate of the Association.
