Manila, Philippines (May 2024) The Philippines North Province of Salesian Cooperators successfully concluded the Provincial Congress on May 11, 2024 at the National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians, Parañaque, Philippines. The Local Council elected the new Provincial Council and chose along themselves Mrs. Yolanda Ortiz as the new Provincial Coordinator.
The Provincial Congress was preceded by the Annual Convention in the morning where about 200 members attended to witness the Rites of Promise for 25 new Salesian Cooperators, issuance of Establishment Decree of the 17th Local Center, Renewal of Promise of old members, and awarding of membership awards to longtime active members. The keynote speaker Rev. Fr. Donnie Duchin Duya, SDB deliver a talk about “Spirituality in the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)”. #
