As part of the celebration of the 211th anniversary of Don Bosco’s birth, the St Dominic Savio Centre in San José, Costa Rica, joyfully celebrated the Promise of Giovanni Zúñiga Artavia as a Salesian Cooperator.

The Eucharist was presided over by Fr Warner Enrique Obando, SDB. During the celebration, Fabricio Umaña, Provincial Councillor for Communications, and Gustavo Parra, Provincial Councillor for Formation, received Giovanni’s Promise on behalf of the CAM South Province.

As a sign of his incorporation into the Association, he received the Project of Apostolic Life (PAL), a certificate, and the official pin, symbols of his commitment to live Salesian spirituality in the midst of the world, following the example of St John Bosco.

The day concluded with a joyful fraternal dinner, during which family members, friends, and members of the Association in Costa Rica accompanied Giovanni in this important step of his vocational journey and celebrated Don Bosco’s birthday together.
