ASC  Korea Holds 2-day Province Event

Seoul, South Korea (May 2024) The Korea Province of Salesian Cooperators held a two-day event on May 11 to  12, 2024. On the first day, there was a meeting of all Local Center Coodinators at the Provincial House. After opening Mass, Local Center Coodinators took a walk introducing and sharing themselves to each other. In the evening, was an opportunity for the Coordinators to talk about the life of the  Cooperators, their  deep thoughts and opinions arising from their Local Centers  and   shared  their fraternity.

The second day  was the  Korea Provincial Congress. The  EAO SDB Regional Delegate, Fr. Joseph Nguyen Thinh Phuoc, SDB who was visiting Korea Province told the Salesian Cooperators three things. The importance of lay people,  Sharing  Salesian charism with confidence and pride, and Church growing  together with the poor are those. And there were annual financial and Provincial activitities reports. In the afternoon Cooperators talked about the preparations towards 150th anniversary. In the sending Mass Fr. Park Bosco, korea ASC Provincial Delegate,SDB, said that Cooperators have to be a light not only in ASC but also in the world.# (Tomas Yang Sang Lee)
